2021 - 2022

At the start of 2022, Hitachi Capital went through a rebrand. Infinity Works was uniquely placed to help deliver the new brand to the Consumer and Personal Finance divisions of the business, having already developed all-new applications for their customers.

The new brand, Novuna, was modern, friendly and well defined with supporting documentation - but it needed to be implemented across all customer-facing material in a short time frame.

I lead design for Infinity Works in a small multi-discipline project group that moved quickly and worked very closely with client stakeholders from across the business. Having already spent time developing a robust design system for Hitachi Capital, our approach was to apply design updates at component-level first then make enhancements at page and user-flow level.

Updating logos, colours and text to ensure the legal deadline was met was the minimum requirement. However, with only a little extra effort and careful planning Infinity Works was able to deliver a solution that vastly surpassed expectations and truly brought the new brand vision to life.
